We’ve been playing in the HiFi space since 1978. During that time there isn’t much that we haven’t seen as far as HiFi Components is concerned.

What you may not know is we are also able to cater to your HiFi Service needs on site at our business premises at Lane Cove.

Aside from our extensive showroom and offices we also have a dedicated Service Centre providing service and repair for your HiFi Audio equipment products whether they are purchased from Len Wallis Audio or elsewhere.

In fact we pride ourselves on being one of the very few HiFi Audio Equipment retailers in the Sydney Metropolitan area that also offers a fully equipped service department, technical test bench and repair facility on site staffed by experienced technicians.

With decades of the experience in the HiFi industry, you can rest assured that we have the knowhow, capability and experience to service and repair your HiFi components to your satisfaction.

What this means is we will give you an honest, straight forward assessment of your equipment condition, the repairs that are required to get it working properly and the cost required to do it.  We won’t just hand you off to 3rd party service agent.

Our policy is to offer a quick reliable repair service which is good value for money. Each job is individually assessed. We do not have target prices or quotas to comply with that may compromise the quality of service outcome – we manage the process end to end to ensure it is as painless and efficient as possible.

What information do I need to provide?
The more information that you can provide about the fault you’ve been experiencing, the quicker the likely turn around for quote and repair will be.
1) Tell us about the fault?
2) What was the equipment doing when it failed?
3) What is different about how the equipment was performing prior to the fault occurring?

All of this is helpful in assisting our technician’s in making a swift and correct assessment of the problem.

How much does it cost to repair an item?
Our initial inspection charge is $110 dollars*.

What about warranty on New Products purchased from Len Wallis Audio?
All goods purchased from Len Wallis Audio come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

The best part about purchasing new items with us is we handle the warranty issues on your behalf – we will never hand you off to a third party repairer.
We manage the repairs for you.

What about a warranty on goods that fall outside of a manufacturer’s warranty?

All service repairs carried out our service centre carry a full 3 month warranty on work completed.

How do I book an item for repair with the Len Wallis Audio Service Centre?
Booking in an item for repair with the service centre is couldn’t be easier. Just bring your item to our showroom at 64 Burns Bay Road, Lane Cove and we’ll assist with an initial assessment and service repair booking number.

*We will then make a more detailed assessment of the problem and provide a quotation and estimated time for completion. Rest assured there is no obligation to go ahead with a quotation.

If you agree to the quotation, we will proceed with repairs and once the repair is completed we will contact you and advise your item is ready for pick-up.
For larger systems, we can even come out and pick up suspected faulty items, return and re-install them as required*

We repair all models of Amplifiers, Turntables, CD players, DVD’s, Speakers, Headphones, HiFi separates and much more – In fact pretty much any type of consumer based audio equipment you care to mention.

What don’t you repair?
Televisions, projectors, game consoles, commercial audio visual equipment, security systems, musical instruments such as Dj Consoles, synthesizers, mixing desks, recording equipment, computers, phones, tablets.
