If you are in the process of building you are already dealing with numerous companies or individuals. The plumber is looking after the plumbing, the electrician the electrical, the security company the security etc. I doubt that you would have the plumber doing the electrical work, so it only makes sense that the audio/video distribution should be consigned to the specialist A/V Integrator.

Your project could be seriously compromised, even rendered near impossible to complete, for the lack of a proper design and schematics for the electrician to follow during the pre-wire stage. Doing it properly doesn’t cost much, so best get it right from the start.
