Like all the Era speakers, the downward firing 8'/200mm subwoofer has been designed firstly to be capable of good, tight performance without boominess. The special hourglass port reduces chuffing, and the 200w amp delivers the control you want in extended bass. The cabinets are finished in real timber veneers, and these cover 19mm MDF sides which help to minimise unwanted resonances.
