The hotbed of development in our industry over the last decade has been in the visual sector. We have gone from bulky CRT TV screens to plasma and LCD (incorporating LED) screens. We have witnessed the release of High Definition formats, including the release of Blu-ray. 3D is the new fad, with IPTV catching up fast.

Prices have dropped enormously, the screen sizes continue to grow, and the performance of video projection has improved immensely. Dedicated theatres are increasing in popularity, and the current entry cost of screens means that increasing numbers of people are investing in multiple TV’s for their homes.
